About the Primrose clinical trial

Primrose is a global, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 3 trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of investigational orelabrutinib in adults with PPMS. The sponsor is Zenas BioPharma.

Randomized means study groups are assigned by chance. Double-blind means participants and study staff do not know which assigned study treatment a participant receives during the blinded part of the trial. The study includes a placebo comparison.

Who may be eligible?

Adults ages 18 to 60 with primary progressive MS may be considered. Other eligibility requirements apply. The study team must review the current approved materials and complete screening to determine whether participation is appropriate.

Contact our Phoenix team to discuss current availability, screening requirements and study visits. Submitting an inquiry does not enroll you or confirm eligibility.

Questions to ask before participating

  • What screening tests and medical records are needed?
  • How often are study visits, and where do they take place?
  • What are the potential risks, possible benefits and alternatives?
  • How could participation affect my current care or medications?

Participation is voluntary. The study team will explain the informed consent process. Benefits are not guaranteed, and investigational treatment is being evaluated for safety and efficacy.
